BJ’s surges on report of Green Equity’s 9.5% stake

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — BJ’s Wholesale Club Inc. shot up 13% after private-equity firm Green Equity Investors reported a 9.5% stake in the wholesale club chain. It also said it plans to contact company management about possibly taking it private.
