SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — BMW said Thursday that June U.S. sales rose 11.9% to 23,331 vehicles from 20,849 in the year-ago period. Sales of BMW autos increased by 6.6% to 14,490 units, while light truck vehicle sales jumped 48.9% to 4,692 vehicles. Mini sales for June rose 1.1% to 4,149 vehicles.
