NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — U.S. stock futures maintained modest gains after the government reported some postive data on the jobs front. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average stood at 8,164, up 48 points, or 0.6%. Those for the S&P 500 gained 8.2 points to 881.90, and Nasdaq 100 futures climbed 10.5 points higher to 1,417.5.
